We are a DMV licensed vehicle registration center that can provide on-site, same day registration services such as Vehicle Registration Renewal, Title Transfers, Vin Verification Service and License Plate Stickers. Your smog certificate is sent electronically to the DMV
If your DMV renewal notice stipulates that you are required to visit a STAR station, this simply means that you are to undergo a smog test using a STAR accredited station
Our STAR certified Smog Check & Test Only Center is authorized to perform STAR certified smog tests.
During the smog test, which takes approximately 30 minutes to complete, your vehicle will undergo the following checks:
✓ Tailpipe emissions of Hydrocarbons (HC), Carbon Monoxide (CO), and Nitrogen Oxide (NOx) will be measured
✓ A visual inspection of the emission control system and components
✓ The functionality of your vehicle’s OBD system
✓ Inspecting the vehicle’s engine light, ignition timing, gas cap; and fuel evaporation and gas recirculation systems
Once the STAR certified smog test has been completed, the results will be generated to the DMV. If your vehicle has passed the test, we will issue a STAR-accredited certificate.
