COMPUTER DIAGNOSTIC
Visit our ultra-modern computer diagnostic center for a fast, reliable assessment of what is wrong with your vehicle.
A computer diagnostic test uses specialized software to quickly pinpoint the problem areas in your vehicle’s engine or elsewhere, by accessing built-in processors, sensors, and microchips.
Diagnostic tests will reveal issues with your vehicle’s engine, brakes, transmission, exhaust system, and other components, as well as performance problems relating to the fuel injector, coolant, ignition, etc.
Unlike in the past, when time-consuming and expensive manual diagnoses were carried out, computerized diagnostics make it possible to detect problems quickly and accurately. Diagnostic tools can also be used to check your vehicle’s computer system for your vehicle’s history and manufacturer notifications. This empowers our technicians with a complete picture, allowing them to perform the best possible repair.
HOW OFTEN SHOULD YOU HAVE A COMPUTER DIAGNOSTIC TEST?
If your vehicle’s engine light comes on, you need to have your car attended to right away. This does not mean that you have to wait for something major to happen before coming to see us. If you feel that your car is not running as smoothly as usual, or that something is amiss, it’s always best to have a check-up. When issues are identified early you can prevent more serious damage and prevent expensive repairs.
BRAKE SERVICE
You and your family’s safety are important to us. It is advisable to have your brakes checked routinely, at least once a year. If you spend a great deal of time in your car, especially in heavy traffic, your brakes will need attention more frequently. If you notice any of the following signs, be sure to bring your vehicle in for a brake service immediately.
WARNING SIGNS THAT YOU NEED A BRAKE SERVICE
- GRINDING OR SQUEAKING BRAKES
Grinding or high-pitched squeaking and squealing sounds when applying your brakes, most likely means that your brake pads and shoes have worn out and need replacing.
- VIBRATING STEERING WHEEL OR BRAKE PEDAL
Shaking, vibrating, or pulsation in your steering wheel or brake pedal when applying the brakes – especially when you are slowing down driving at highway speeds, means that your rotors are warped or damaged.
- DRIVING IN HEAVY TRAFFIC
If you frequently drive in heavy traffic or mountainous countryside, the friction components of your brakes will wear out prematurely and need to be checked more often.
- PEDAL MOVEMENT
If it feels like your pedal moves down further than usual when you brake, it is a sign that your brake pads are starting to wear, and need to be replaced to avoid further damage.
- VEHICLE PULLS TO ONE SIDE
If your vehicle pulls to one side when braking, it can be one of several issues relating to your brake system, including a brake pad that is contaminated with grease, a restriction in your brake line or hose, a faulty automatic adjuster on your parking brake or rear drum brake, or some other issue with one of your brake components.
- EXCESSIVE BRAKE FLUID USAGE
If you have to repeatedly refill your brake fluid, it means that your vehicle has an oil leak.
- BRAKE WARNING LIGHT ON
If your brake warning light is illuminated on your dash, it means that there is an emergency anti-lock braking system (ABS) failure, or that there is another issue with your brakes that needs to be repaired urgently. It can also mean that you need to replace your brake fluid.
